It’s hard to believe, but when First Horizon originally opened their doors in 1864, Abraham Lincoln was President! Since then, the company has expanded from a small bank in Memphis, Tennessee to one of the Nation’s premier places for a mortgage. At the "Preferred Lending" office of First Horizon, we stay open extended hours so you can reach us before or after work. Many people think that service only matters up until the point we “close” your loan. But, the fact that First Horizon keeps a vast majority of their loans allows us to help you even after we are done with the transaction.

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Marketing & Advertising, Stuart Sandor started work in the real world for an ad agency. His marketing background taught him to “Keep things simple and in terms a 5th grader can understand.” Consequently, Stuart attributes much of his success to the fact that he was NOT a “finance guru”. It was only after he was asked to create some advertising for an up & coming mortgage company in 1993 that his career in lending began to soar. Since then, he has been one of the top producing loan officers in the Northwest and is currently ranked among First Horizon’s top 20 agents in the Nation. When Stuart is not helping clients, he enjoys cycling, golfing, and spending time with family. One of his proudest achievements is that he recently got his pilot’s license.
